We are located on the Sacramento River at Vieira's Resort, near Isleton, California. We can be found between Rio Vista and Isleton, on Highway 160. Vieira's Resort is about 60 miles east of San Francisco and about 40 miles southwest of Sacramento, California.
I began working on boats in 1976 to learn the trade and I learned it from some of the "old masters". Those masters of the trade believed in doing things the right way, not the easiest way. My wife and I opened our own business at Vieira's Resort in 1986 and have built a highly respected reputation for delivering the very best quality at the fairest prices.
We are in business to provide repair services for all types of boats, from small dingys to 45' yachts. From bottom painting to complete restoration, all work is done with two goals in mind; pride of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. We have railway haulout capability, rather than slings, so wooden hull boats are not subjected to the strain imposed by the slings.
Prices are the most reasonable around, from San Francisco to Sacramento, and our craftsmanship is second to none. The Island Gypsy was transformed from nearly being salvaged to one of the most beautiful vessels in the Sacramento River Delta.
